How it works

A colleague, not a cannon.

Most tools ask how many emails you want to send. We ask who's actually worth writing to.

01

It reads you first

Paste your URL. The agent studies your site and public signals, then drafts a BuyerPersona you can edit - focused on who actually buys from you.

02

It explains every pick

Each lead gets a 0-100 fit score against your specific BuyerPersona segment, plus plain-English reasoning and matched signals. No black-box scores.

Rainmaker's outbound runs on Rainmaker. Every beta customer we have was found, researched, drafted and approved in this product - we were the first ones who had to live with what it sends.

The guardrail exists because we've been on the receiving end of outbound that invented things about us - and didn't want to be the ones sending it.

What users say

Nine teams are running the agent on their own inbox. Two things come up every time: the calls booked, and the drafts not being slop.

Verified before sent

Every address passes verification before any send. Bounce rates above 3% or complaints approaching 0.1% automatically pause the campaign via the circuit breaker.

Sourced before written

The guardrail - validateTouch - rejects any factual sentence without a valid SourcedClaim. Blocked drafts cannot be approved.

Copilot by default

Human approval is required for every send. Daily budgets and dispatch-time suppression re-checks are always active.

Opt-out is forever

Confirmed unsubscribes suppress globally across all workspaces. Consumer rights use double opt-in.

Fromagent@tryacme.coSubjectRe: Series B expansion - quick question on your new TAM

Hi Priya,

I noticed Acme announced the $18M Series B last month[1] and that you're hiring two more AEs focused on mid-market[2].

We help teams like yours book 3-6 additional qualified meetings per month from buyers who are already showing buying signals, without increasing send volume.

Would you be open to a 12-minute look at the last 30 days of pipeline we sourced for a peer in your space?

P.S. Happy to include the last three meetings we helped them book if useful.

Fair questions

The questions you'd ask on the call.

Asked by nearly everyone in the beta. Answered here so you don't have to book anything to find out.

What is Rainmaker?
Rainmaker is an AI outbound agent for B2B sales. You paste your company URL, and it builds a buyer persona, sources leads who match it, writes cold emails where every factual claim links to a real source, and holds drafts for your approval before anything sends. You pay $79/mo base, plus $25 only when it books a meeting that actually holds.
How is Rainmaker different from other AI SDR tools?
Three differences that are enforced in code, not claimed in marketing. First, every factual sentence in every email links to a real source: if there is no source, the email is blocked, not flagged. Second, nothing sends without your approval, because Rainmaker is a copilot by default, not autopilot. Third, the outcome fee ($25) triggers only when a meeting is booked, RSVP-accepted, not cancelled, and the start time has passed, not on a reply, not on a click, not on an unverifiable attended metric.
What does no source, no send mean?
Every factual claim in a Rainmaker email is linked to a verifiable source at the time of drafting. If the agent cannot find a source for a claim, the email does not proceed to your approval queue; it is blocked at the drafting stage. You cannot override this check. It means you can hand outbound to an agent without handing over your reputation.
Who is Rainmaker for?
Founders running their own outbound (1-20 employees, no dedicated SDR), first sales hires scaling pipeline at small teams, and agencies running outbound for multiple clients. It is not built for enterprises that need SOC 2 on day one, or for teams who want pure volume sends without approval gates.
Will Rainmaker burn my domain?
Rainmaker sends from a managed sending address or your connected mailbox, verifies every recipient address before sending, and pauses active campaigns when bounce or complaint thresholds are breached. Nothing sends without your approval, and daily send budgets are enforced by the system.
Is cold email legal?
In the US, cold B2B email is legal under CAN-SPAM when sent with honest headers, a physical address, and a working unsubscribe. Rainmaker's outbound conduct follows CAN-SPAM requirements. The system also maintains a notice at collection, an opt-out mechanism, a suppression registry shared across every Rainmaker account, and a Global Privacy Control (GPC) layer.
What counts as a qualified meeting?
A meeting is qualified when it is booked (calendar invite sent), RSVP-accepted by the prospect, not cancelled before the start time, and the start time has passed. Attended is not in the definition because calendar APIs do not expose attendance, and Rainmaker refuses to charge on metrics it cannot verify. This is the exact definition used to trigger the $25 outcome fee.
What does Rainmaker cost?
$79/mo base includes up to 500 contacted leads. Beyond 500, $0.05 per additional contacted lead. Plus $25 per qualified meeting booked, with the outcome fee capped at 20% of your subscription charges, so it can never run away from you. Example: 1,000 contacted leads and 12 meetings in a month is approximately $125/mo. 14-day trial, no card required.
