What we shipped, and what we learned sending it

Part changelog, part field notes from running our own outbound through the product. Published every second Friday.

Trial conversion + named comparisons

Self-serve 14-day trials replaced the waitlist across the site, so the first thing a visitor can do is run the agent on their own domain rather than wait for us.

We also published dated, hands-on comparison pages naming Gojiberry and Explee - including where each of them is genuinely strong - and killed every placeholder link and dead citation on the public site.

Full product redesign + reply engine v2

The operator app shipped a ground-up visual redesign on a single token system. Reply drafting v2 landed with it: web-research-grounded answers, operator-visible research attempts, entity disambiguation, and per-claim subjects enforced by a contrast guard.

Why it matters
One token system, and replies you can audit.

Invented citations now fail as hard as missing ones

A model that knows it needs a source will sometimes produce a plausible URL that doesn't exist. Every citation is fetched and hashed at draft time, so a link that 404s is treated exactly like no link at all.

Why it matters
The gate can't be talked around.

Phase 1 website updates

Added the company manifesto, the comparison page, and the founders use-case teaser - all built with the same honest, editorial approach as the product.

Why it matters
Say less, and show the receipts.

Meetings read from your calendar, not from clicks

Outcome billing reads acceptance and start time directly from the connected calendar. If an invite is cancelled before it starts, it never enters the count - and the number on your dashboard is the same one the invoice uses.

Why it matters
We can't score our own exam.

Core pipeline hardening

Strengthened guardrail enforcement, a dispatch-time suppression re-check, and append-only usage ledgers. Pricing math is now fully golden-tested and visible in the product.

Why it matters
Nothing bills that can't be replayed.

BuyerPersona + sourced claims

The Reader now produces editable BuyerPersonas, and the Researcher plus Writer flow with the validateTouch guardrail went live. No source, no send - enforced in code.

Why it matters
The rule stopped being a promise.

Public demo + waitlist

Launched a labeled public preview: a model-backed Reader and Scorer when configured, illustrative leads, and deterministic guarded email copy.

Why it matters
Anyone could check our work.
