For the first sales hire

Pipeline for the first sales hire, without a stack to build

You are the first salesperson in. There is no SDR, no RevOps, and no sequence library - just a product, a few early customers, and a number for the quarter. Rainmaker gives you verified leads and source-cited emails from the company URL, so the first weeks go to conversations instead of setup.

What a first hire needs from an outbound tool

Four things, and none of them is more volume.

01

A buyer persona you can take to the founder

Rainmaker drafts a BuyerPersona from the company URL before any lead is contacted. Sit down with the founder, edit the titles and trigger events, and agree on who you are selling to before anything is spent on prospecting.

02

Verified leads, not a raw export

Every lead has passed the prospecting waterfall: the address is verified, the fit is scored 0-100 against the persona with the reasoning shown, and where it came from is recorded. There is no spreadsheet to clean first.

03

Emails you can defend to the founder

Every factual sentence cites a source, so you can open any email that went out and point to the page behind each claim. If a claim cannot be sourced, the draft is blocked: no source, no send.

04

A domain that survives the first month

Every recipient is verified before sending, daily send budgets are enforced, and campaigns pause when bounce or complaint thresholds are breached. You do not get a second sending reputation.

What it costs

$79 a month covers 500 contacted leads and unlimited users, so the founder can sit in the same workspace at no extra cost. Extra leads are 5 cents each. Each qualified meeting is $25, capped at 20% of the subscription - so a month at 500 contacted leads tops out at $94.80. See the full pricing →

When the team grows

Unlimited users means the second hire joins the same workspace without a new seat to buy. Meetings land on the Google or Outlook calendar you already use, and HubSpot connects when you are ready for a CRM. When there are several reps, the sales team use case picks up from here.

Common questions from first sales hires

How long until the first emails go out?

You can see sourced leads and drafts the same day you paste the company URL. Most of the time before the first send goes to reviewing the proposed buyer segments with the founder.

What if we are still figuring out the ICP?

That is what the BuyerPersona review is for. Rainmaker proposes buyer segments from the company site; you edit or reject them before prospecting starts, and every lead shows the reasoning behind its fit score, so a wrong segment is visible early.

Does the founder need to approve every email?

Only if you want that. You can review each draft before it sends, or let sourced drafts go out inside the daily budget you set. In both cases a draft with an unsourced claim is blocked until a person releases it.

Which CRM does Rainmaker connect to?

HubSpot connects today. Mailboxes connect through Gmail, Outlook, or any IMAP account, and meetings are tracked against a Google or Outlook calendar.
